Report Letter, Accountability
November 18, 2020
Dear Brethren, Since my last report letter in mid-summer, the Lord has presented me with many opportunities to serve Him and preach His Word. There has been a great response at the altar in the meetings I've preached, and God has been challenging His saints to seek personal revival. I've preached every Sunday starting May 10, 2020 up until the present and am scheduled every Sunday through the end of the year. God has enabled me to preach 35 out of 46 weeks this year to date. However, it's not about me, but all about His Word going forth and changing lives. To God be the glory! During this time, I've preached an Old-Fashioned Sunday, a Revival Meeting, and several one-day meetings along with Pulpit Supply. I also continue to oversee a Church Rescue in central Illinois. This opportunity began on February 2, 2020, and I preach there every Sunday when I'm not on the road in scheduled meetings. Helping churches maintain a vision for the Lord's work and supporting them until they call their next pastor is a ministry that God has uniquely equipped me for, after personally serving Him in the pastorate for over 20 years. I praise God for these opportunities and find them very rewarding. In closing, my heart is overwhelmed with joy for the opportunity to serve Him and preach His Word. I owe everything to my precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Please pray for God to supply the church in central Illinois with their next pastor on His timing. Pray also for a man named, Art, to humble himself and trust Christ as Savior. Thank you to all who faithfully pray and financially support this ministry. For the Old Paths, Evangelist Darryl S.
